Think you are too old when you finish 6th grade to participate in 4-H camp, think again! Youth who have completed 6th, 7th and 8th grades can participate in the Jr High camping program. The Ridley 4-H Center offers an adventurous and educational summer camping program for middle school youth. Each summer, a different theme is chosen–2020’s Jr High camp theme was “EXTREME 4-H CAMP: Get outside, stay outside.” Educational classes focused on leadership, outdoor education, team building, service learning and traditional camp activities such as swimming, sports and crafts.
